In this letter to his daughter ,great director Martin Scorsese writes eloquently about the changes in filmmaking that are happening in our modern, innovative age. Cinema is changing, evolving. In some ways perhaps at least aspects of it will become unrecognizable in our lifetimes. The way movies are made and consumed. The business of filmmaking, the technicality, hopefully not ever the humanity and the art. I learned things from his words that I hadn’t really given any depth of thought to…about screenwriting and movie loving as well. However the filmmaking industry changes, I hope the joy of cinema will stay with us at its core.
